Kickoff Reception & Awards Presentation

All registered conference attendees and awardees are invited to join us in kicking off the annual education conference and celebrating the 2024 APTA-NE awardees.

Come see keynote speaker Coach Bill Busch on Friday night! With his 30+ years as a Division 1 football coach - three times at Nebraska! - Bill Busch can 'coach up' our attendees on the art of "Successfully Navigating Life's 'Turnovers.'"

Expect an open bar (for those 21 years or older with ID) and heavy appetizers, which is included in the cost of the conference registration. Parking is first come/first serve, complementary, and available in lots 15 & 65.

Know Before You Go

Registration:

On Friday night and Saturday morning, registration tables will be located in the lobby of the Truhlsen Events Center outside the business meeting hall. Conference attendees are encouraged to wear their work/student nametag. You will be given a sticker to place on your nametag/badge to indicate registration.

Saturday Meals: A hot breakfast will be served buffet style during registration time. Boxed lunches will be provided at the lunch break with vegetarian, gluten free, and vegan options available. First come/first serve light snacks will be available during the breaks. All food is served in the Business Meeting Hall.

Prizes: There will be an exhibitor station raffle prize available for participants to win. To be eligible, participants should visit and obtain a signed check-off from all booths during breaks and hand in their completed check-off card at the registration table.

Session selection and CEUS:

Attendees will choose sessions to attend during the day of the conference. All sessions are first come, first serve. If a session reaches capacity, attendees are required to choose a different session to maintain fire and safety codes. To be eligible for CEU credits, attendees will sign in via QR code at the beginning of each session AND complete the exit survey at the end of the conference. CEU credits will be emailed within two weeks of the conference. Participants can earn up to 6 contact hours of CEU credits if they attend all three sessions. However, participants have the option to skip sessions at their own discretion, forfeiting any CEU credits missed.

The business meeting is free and open to all APTA-NE members regardless of conference attendance. It will be
provided via hybrid format, with a link posted on the APTA-NE website for all online attendees. 

Parking for the conference is first come/first serve, complementary, and available in lots 15 & 65.

Conference pricing includes the kickoff reception and the conference sessions with CEUs.
