NPTA Central and Western District Meetings
Tuesday-October 25, 2016

On Tuesday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m. in Kearney we will have a presentation on orthopaedics by Dr. Nolan R. May. The meeting will be held at the Good Samaritan Hospital. The meeting will be held at the West Tower Conference Center.

Dr. May is an orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in sports related injuries. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, completed his residency at Southern California Orthopaedic Institute, and is certified by the American Orthopaedic Surgery. 

TELEHEALTH AVALIABLE:  Arrangements have been made to broadcast this meeting to the following sites.
Grand Island, at the St. Frances Medical Center Conference Room 4.
Hastings, at Room TBA at Mary Lanning. 
Please let me know if you want to set up any other sites.

Election:  It is election time again.  Please let me know if you are interested in either running for president or secretary/treasurer.  We will vote at this meeting.

SAME AS ALWAYS: Food and drink will be provided during the meeting and presentation.  Food will only be provided at the Kearney site.  NPTA members who attend will be awarded 1.5 Contact hours for CEU credits at no cost.   

SOMETHING NEW:  Non-NPTA members may attend the meeting and presentation as well.  However, if they choose to receive CEU credit they will be charged $10.00 for that 1 contact hour. This e-mail will go out to members only. If you have co-workers that are PTs and PTAs that are not members of the NPTA, please pass this opportunity on to them so we can have the opportunity to further engage them in our profession. 

Central District Members Please RSVP to Jenny Eberle by October 23, 2016 if you are going to attend so we can make arrangements for food and refreshments at the Central District site.
