APTA To Launch #ChoosePT Campaign

The House of Delegates, the highest body of governance for the APTA, recently gathered together over 400 delegates from all states to make decisions about where our association is heading.
One very important topic came up: The APTA has initiated a campaign against opioids with safe alternatives such as physical therapy. A press release has been issued. The campaign called #choosept. This is an opportunity to educate the patient population, legislators, and healthcare professionals that PT is a safe alternative for pain management.
