New policies published that exclude coverage for important PT services

AIM Specialty Health, a subsidiary of Anthem, and CIGNA/ASH have published new policies that exclude coverage for important PT services. AIM has chosen to exclude coverage for CPT codes 97014 (Estim, unattended), 97012 (Mechanical traction), 96004 (Gait analysis, instrumented), 96004 (Motion analysis, instrumented), 97033 (Iontophoresis), and 97016 (Vasopneumatic compression). CIGNA has chosen to exclude CPT codes 97016 

(vasopneumatic) and 97026 (infrared).
